Player and Character Information
- Introduce yourself, the player. I'm a rogue main, pvp centered but willing to do pve content (I'd especially like to raid). Played vanilla to cataclysm, just returned recently for shadowlands. I've RPed in many other MMOs but never in WoW. I've been soaking in the lore, working on a character I'd be interested in playing.

Introduce your character.
Leoric was a human mage of the Kirin Tor, of a middling standing within the order. His contributions were mediocre, either for a lack of talent in magic, a lack of focus on his studies, or a selfish hoarding of his knowledge, depending on which mage you ask. It was his skill in the political game that is inherent to any structured order that kept him relevant among his peers. But it also made him rivals, and even enemies, amongst the Kirin Tor mages.
Leoric is exiled from them, now, no longer welcome in Dalaran. His rivals say he stole something, his enemies, that he's insulted the very founding principles of the order. Officially, no reason is given in their records for his exile, and the man fled the floating city of his own accord.
Yet a mage may travel far in but a few steps, more so than most can boast. Rumors abound of a lavender eyed man roaming many lands and many planes, venturing into dark and forbidden places. He searches for something, carrying on his research without the help of the Kirin Tor. It is perhaps this practice that has driven him from their good graces most of all. If you stare into an abyss too long, it will stare back into you. Leoric is certainly staring. - Yes, I have read the Code of Conduct. Yes
