Riathan sat at his desk, one that had been provided to him from the Guild Initative office, a parchment set in front of him with a multitude of scribbled out names. Light’s Hope, Destiny’s Edgier (Which had been underlined and circled three times. Mostly because it kept popping into his head thanks to one Lady Genevieve Kent.
He eyed the axe laying on the desk, the Guardian rune on the side emitting a bright blue light. He wasn’t even wearing his armor for the first time in what felt like twelve hours. He’d been out of practice too long and had joined some Seraph patrols. It was also a good excuse to get his ear out for contracts for the still as-of-yet unnamed guild He’d formed. He had high hopes, the group certainly seemed motivated. He heard a cough from the doorway and looked up, smiling as he saw his Cousin, Rynn, enter the office. The bounty hunter had a rifle slung over her shoulder, and gave her cousin a pat on the back. “Still no luck on the name?” “Not yet, despite my best efforts. I’m trying to stray away from the names I’m used to, Ones with “Company” in them.” Riathan’s last two guilds, both bore such a moniker. His own personal endeavor having been Aegis Company.
He sighed, looking up at the wooden ceiling, taking in the ever present salty air of Lion’s Arch. He glanced out the window and then realized he’d been staring. “I’ll put up an open parchment, and have our new members put up ideas, and then we’ll vote. That’ll be the best way to do it.” The guardian nodded, hand landing on one of his Tome’s, the pages brimming with magical power, idly thumbing the pages, causing light to leak out.
“It’s a team effort after all.”
