It was the familiar cries of an imp in pain that drew Ryo’s attention. He pulled the door open and found the distressed demon pinned to the door by a dagger with a second dagger pinning a note to the imp. The Illidari dug the talons of his gauntlets into the demons flesh and siphoned out his soul ending its cries and pain.

I’m sorry I said things that upset you. You’re fine the way you are.

P.S. Would you like to come to my place for chocolate fondue?”

He puzzled over the note and the method of its posting. As he did he made three observations in this order.

First, for one so feral Elli’s handwriting was actually quite pretty.

Second, it was surprising she was a fan of chocolate fondue.

Third, that she had a ‘place’ that presumably was large enough for her, Ryo and a fondue pot.

In their last encounter, Elli seemed to have made it quite clear she very much preferred his old self. Perhaps her opinion changed? Ryo decided to take her up on her offer. It was only polite after all, she clearly was trying to make amends for an unintended fault. Ryo smiled as he concerned the best course of action going forward, as the citizens of Ironforge fled in a panic of the eight-foot six winged monster with blood on his talons and a wicked grin.

*mental image of Etsi and Ryo towering over a tiny fondue pot, delicately pinching the fondue sticks and dipping pieces of bread (maybe imp meat?) into the chocolate or cheese concoction, making pleasant small talk about the hunt and maiming and tearing creatures limb from limb.

Imp soul, the meat is just a wraper.
