Dear Journal,
I took advantage of a social gathering with the Templars to finally show my face and meet so many of my fellow adventurers. It was kind of nice to get out with other adults and not have to deal with the everyday drama of my soon-to-be twin teenage terrors.
Of course Arialynn was there overseeing things but many of the faces were new. Tabasa, Kaidesity, Victor Blackwald, Para, Purple, Dione, Zetera, Acele, Seella….Trying to remember who else I met during the festivities.
There was singing, dancing, storytelling…a night of all around good fun.
There was also, someone…..
I’m not going to go into all the sordid details here but let’s just say it was nice to be with someone for the first time in a very, very, very long time. I really didn’t expect things to end up like that but I know sometimes it’s perfectly fine to give into one’s carnal desires, to truly live life in the moment.
I spend too much time being a protector, a mother. It’s far past time to just be a woman again.
Hopefully this is a step forward on discovering myself in that regards.
