Dear Pikko,
I want you to understand something.
Your rage is not more important than someone else’s life. You may not know this as a fighter, but healing is work–it takes effort, especially the act of healing someone whose condition was as dire as Ironwood’s. Assessments must be made swiftly and surely, and difficult decisions made.
While I have trained–and served–as a battlefield medic, and am capable of functioning as such mid-combat, it increases difficulty and the chances of mistakes drastically.
Naturally, I would never choose to embrace additional challenges while in the shelter of our own bloody guild hall. I do not enjoy making healing “mistakes” as people often die of them.
Shut up when I tell you to next time, or I will ask Riathan to reconsider your presence within the Vanguard. I will not accept additional risk to myself and my people because you’re upset and want to have a hissy fit. Learn to deal with your emotions as befits a proper warrior.
I like you but there are things I will not tolerate.
