Elli prowled the ground, growling, snarling, and snapping at nothing in frustration. Didn�t her new pack understand? You didn�t let a diseased member back in if it was trying to kill the members. No wolf liked killing one of their own, but they did what needed to be done to keep the pack safe. Why couldn�t they see that? It wasn�t personal. Well, to be honest, it wasn�t personal to her because she didn�t really know this Mosur. But, even if it was personal, you had to do what needed to be done to keep everyone as safe as you could.
She snorted and shook her head. Learning about humans was more confusing than ever now that she spent more time among them rather than less. Maybe she should teach them about wolves. Then maybe they�d see how wolves were much more reasonable and sane than they were. Perhaps even behave more like them.
Sighing, she climbed to the top of the battlements and lay down, resting her head on her paws. She�d promised Ace she would try to learn and try to fit in. There were some things, though, couldn�t agree with. If they didn�t understand that, she�d take whatever consequences her actions provoked. She sighed again.
